There are three ways to get MozPETs: Building from source, get a full binary build,
or install a set of XPI extensions for your local Mozilla Suite.
The pros and cons of these options are discussed below.
In any case, you need some external programs installed for certain MozPETs features
to work. These are:
Program | Home page | Required by |
---|---|---|
JAP | http://anon.inf.tu-dresden.de | MozJAP to access the JAP network |
Graphviz | http://www.graphviz.org | Tracknosis to draw the tracking graphs |
GnuPG | http://www.gnupg.org | EnigMail for PGP mail encryption |
Mixmaster | http://mixmaster.sf.net | Pemar to send mails anonymously | Perl | http://www.perl.org | Pemar includes an local SMTP proxy written in Perl |
Please install these to your machines default locations.
This is recommended if you are interested in doing
some development yourself.
