Installing MozPETs

There are three ways to get MozPETs: Building from source, get a full binary build, or install a set of XPI extensions for your local Mozilla Suite. The pros and cons of these options are discussed below. In any case, you need some external programs installed for certain MozPETs features to work. These are:

Please install these to your machines default locations.

Build MozPETs from source.

This is recommended if you are interested in doing some development yourself.

Install a set of Mozilla XPI extensions

Most of the MozPETs features are available as Mozilla extension that can be installed indepently of each other. This the way to go if you cannot use a full binary build or are just interested in a special MozPETs feature.
